Back in 1985, Joe and Rory Schafer saw the need for a reputable, friendly ice cream store in Ventnor after two local stores closed their doors.  Their first location opened, and for many years grew to become one of the most identifiable and popular businesses in the area. 

Known for their cleanliness, fantastic selection of products, friendly service and reasonable pricing, Joe and Rory saw the need to expand.  Able to triple their size and selections, their present location on Ventnor Ave has again become THE destination spot for ice creams, yogurts and water ices and so much more. 

SunDaze, located at 6814 Ventnor Ave., provides the finest quality soft ice cream along with the largest selection of hard ice cream flavors and gourmet water ices.  All our gourmet water ices are made on the premises and we are able offer flavors not available elsewhere.  SunDaze also offers frozen yogurts, vegan soft serve along with acai bowls and banana whips.  With the largest selection of candy and fruit sundae toppings anywhere, you’ll have a hard time deciding.  If you’re in the mood for a beverage, we can quench your thirst with a shake, a float or a refreshing smoothie. 

If you’re having a party or need a hostess gift for a friend we have ice cream cakes and pies along with a wide assortment of novelties. Every Wednesday is “Waffle Wednesday” at SunDaze.  Our hot fresh whole Belgian waffles are half price on Wednesdays!   But if you want a cone that is amazingly delicious, we make homemade waffle cones every day!  We also offer a wide selection of cookie cones, sugar cones and wafer cones.
